Faults, glitches and errors regenerated with human interference, music for solo drum kit and electronics.  

chain-error is an album written, recorded and produced by will shaw from his practise studio in Sheffield, UK. This project began from an attachment to particular musical fragments behind the drum kit and the meditative evolution of their sonic qualities through repetition and improvisation, inspired and informed by ideas of tape loops, glitches and found-sound. Listeners can hear influences of ambient, electronica, dark techno, as well as the repetitive sounds found in everyday life such as a dripping tap, a CD skipping or radio interference.
