Will is a drum kit player, improviser and composer from Stockport, now living in Sheffield, UK.

His work is largely focused around timbre and rhythmic unorthodoxy, often using objects, extended techniques and live electronics to augment his sound behind the drums.

Will is currently developing solo material for drums and live electronics, inspired by themes of errors, glitches and drones. In July 2026, he was selected as a Satellite Artist to perform this material at Hjorted Art and Music’s Collision Points festival in Sweden. In September 2026, he released his debut solo album chain-error on the critically acclaimed label esc.rec based in The Netherlands.

Will has also worked with Lili Holland-Fricke, John Pope, Jemma Freese, Seth Bennett and Andrew Barney amongst others. He has performed at Lancaster, Leeds and Sheffield jazz festivals; Newcastle Festival of Jazz and Improvised Music; Tramlines, Shambala and Y Not festivals; The Glasshouse and EartH Theatre. His work has been featured on BBC 6 Music, Radio X, Jazz FM and in The Wire magazine.
